Navigate to SideShift.ai
Open your browser and go to sideshift.ai. The interface loads instantly — no installation, no account creation, no wallet connection required. You are already ready to swap.

Select Your Deposit Coin
Click the "Deposit" dropdown on the left side of the swap interface. A searchable list of 400+ supported coins will appear. Type the ticker symbol (e.g., "BTC") or the full name to filter results quickly.

Select Your Settlement Coin
Click the "Settle" dropdown on the right side. This is the coin you want to receive after the swap. Select from the same extensive list. The available rate will update in real time as you choose.

Choose Fixed or Variable Rate
SideShift offers two order types. Fixed rate locks in the exchange rate for a short window — you know exactly what you get. Variable rate uses the best available rate at settlement time, which may be better or slightly different.

Enter Your Destination Wallet Address
In the settlement address field, paste the wallet address where you want to receive your swapped coins. Double-check this address carefully — crypto transactions are irreversible and SideShift cannot recover funds sent to a wrong address.

Review the Order Details
Before creating the order, review the summary: deposit coin, settlement coin, estimated rate, minimum and maximum deposit amounts, and your destination address. All information is displayed transparently.

Create the Order & Get Deposit Address
Click "Create Order". SideShift generates a unique deposit address specifically for your order. This is the address you will send your deposit coin to. Copy it carefully.

Send Your Deposit
From your wallet, send the exact amount of the deposit coin to the generated SideShift deposit address. The amount must be within the min/max range shown. Wait for blockchain confirmations.

Track Your Order
SideShift displays real-time order status on the order tracking page. You will see stages: Waiting for Deposit → Confirming → Processing → Complete. The whole process typically takes 10–30 minutes.

Receive Your Coins
Once SideShift processes your deposit, it automatically sends the settled coins to your destination wallet. The order status will show "Complete" and you will see the transaction ID for verification.
